The African Diaspora Group volunteers consider their work meaningful, and often have a personal commitment to our mission. Your time and talents are essential to continuing our efforts to connect the diaspora back to Africa, and we welcome you to submit your interest to join our team.
Description of opportunities:
Events Volunteer
Events volunteers plan, organize, and implement community outreach programs or fundraiser events, or simply help out on the day of the event.
Translator / Interpreter
Interpreters attend events where translation services are needed. They may also help with translating documents and other material.
Skill-Based Volunteer
Put your skills to use on an as-needed basis. Skills volunteers have professional knowledge, and include services such as photography/videography, graphic design, law, engineering, real estate, interior design, reading or writing in multiple languages, and more.
Speaker’s Bureau Volunteer
Speakers who present information or share a story about The African Diaspora Group’s outreach, and educate the public on our mission.
International Support
Volunteers who attend events or community outreach trips held in Africa to offer support and assistance.
Serve on the Board
Join our Board of Directors, and be part of the decision-making and vision for the organization.
Ambassadors
Represent our mission and initiatives in communities or countries in which you have influence to raise more awareness, and promote the unification between the diaspora and Africa.
