The Bridge For The
DIASPORA TO THE
ROOT
Unify and mobilize the African diaspora to provide education and opportunities on the continent for land & home ownership, investment, and travel, while contributing to the development and prosperity of African nations.
THE MOVEMENT
The African Diaspora Group is the bridge connecting Africans in the diaspora back to their roots. There has been widespread loss of cultural identity, resulting from centuries spent displaced from the continent, and the time reach back is now. For the African in the diaspora, the motherland holds vital roots, history, and culture, and without proper restoration, the people will forever be fractured. Mother Africa will help to restore what was lost, and the children of the diaspora will reciprocate by providing the knowledge and resources that were gained while away.
Africans both on the continent and within the diaspora have taken notice to the increase in foreign investments rapidly taking place each day within African nations, but it is often disadvantageous, as there is little regard for the economic growth and advancement of those respective countries. The profits gained are instead taken out of Africa, and used to build up other nations. The diaspora is comprised of millions, scattered all across the nation. It is time for the African diaspora to come together, and unleash the power of the diaspora dollar to get big projects done on the continent, for the prosperity, growth, and unity of Africa.
We cannot rely on foreign investors or our elected officials to fix the issues within Africa. If we want to fix Africa, we as Africans on the continent, as well as in the diaspora, must come together to fix it ourselves!
THE AFRICAN DIASPORA
The African Diaspora describes people of African origin, living outside of the continent by choice, or most predominantly against their will, due to the Transatlantic slave trade. The diaspora is vast, and includes displaced Africans living in numerous countries all around the world. It is time for Africans in the diaspora to break free from their manufactured identities, and return to knowledge of self as an African. Together, the diaspora can do great work on the continent alongside the brothers and sisters who have remained.

About the Project
The African Diaspora Group in partnership with The African Kinship Reunion is conducting wide-scale DNA testing in areas on the African continent hard hit by the Transatlantic Slave Trade.
Through such initiatives, we have been able to find and reconnect over 10 local families and counting with their displaced relatives in the diaspora.
Donate now to help us purchase additional test kits to further expand our efforts – you never know, the next reunion could be yours!
